Innopraktika Lecture Halls

About the Project

The Innopraktika Lecture Halls is an international cultural and educational project aimed at developing and strengthening intercultural ties and exploring new forms of artistic expression through the synergy that arises from the interaction of representatives from different countries, artistic perspectives, and aesthetic traditions. The Lecture Halls provide a unique cultural and educational space where university students and other participants can immerse themselves in Russian culture and find themselves in a supportive environment with like-minded individuals, fostering knowledge expansion and creative development. The project to open the Lecture Halls was initiated by Innopraktika Company in 2022.

Goal

Innopraktika Lecture Halls are opening on the campuses of leading world universities that teach Russian language. This promotes universal human values, developing the social science, and enhancing the competitiveness of the Russian language in the modern world. The main goal of creating the Lecture Halls is to make Russian culture and the Russian language more comprehensible to international students and those interested in Russia. The Lecture Halls become a platform for exchanging opinions and promoting universal human values, a space for intercultural dialogue and the development of the humanities.

Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar

The creation of Innopraktika Lecture Hall at the territory of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal, marked the first milestone in the Innopraktika Lecture Hall Project. The agreement for its construction was signed in July 2023 during the Second Summit Russia-Africa held in St. Petersburg. The grand opening of the Innopraktika Lecture Hall in Dakar took place in November 2024. Currently, the Lecture Hall hosts regular online lectures by leading Russian university professors for University students on Russian language and literature, Russian cultural values, Russian history, and other topics. Furthermore, the first group of students successfully completed the "Russian Language and Literature: Ethnocultural Features of Intercultural Communication" program and received certificates of completion.

Rio de Janeiro | Brazil

Federal University of Rio de Janeiro

Memorandum of opening the Innopraktika Lecture Hall at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro was signed in October 2024 at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The University of Rio de Janeiro is Brazil's largest public university and the founder of the Brazilian higher education system. Students at the University study Russian as a foreign language. The grand opening of the Lecture Hall took place in August 2025. The Lecture Hall will feature an educational program taught by professors from leading Russian universities, including courses on Russian language, history, literature, and Russian cultural values. The lectures will begin in the Fall of 2025 and will be held weekly via webinars.

Hainan | China

Hainan College of Foreign Studies

The Memorandum of intention to open the Innopraktika Lecture Hall was signed in June 2025, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The grand opening of the Lecture Hall took place in September 2025. The Innopraktika Lecture Hall in China is intended to be a multifunctional space with separate areas for studying, reading, socializing, and hosting events. The Lecture Hall will feature an educational program led by professors from leading Russian universities, including courses on Russian language and literature, Russian cultural values, Russian history, and the history of Russian theater. The lectures will begin in the Fall of 2025 and will be held weekly as webinars.
